New Zealand Airline Works At Reliability Jetstar New Zealand says it is attracting more business customers, thanks to its improved standards of reliability. Grant Kerr, head of New Zealand Jetstar operations, acknowledges that there was a period when the Australian owned Airline often attracted public criticism for breakdowns in communication with its passengers. Jetstar has hit the headlines for such things as having a pregnant woman bumped off a Flight after having already let her fly one leg, and cancelling a Flight which meant fans missed a Lady Gaga concert in Auckland. The Australian LCC, a Qantas subsidiary, says it has about 20.7 percent of the domestic MARKET based on Flights between Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland, Queenstown and Dunedin, carrying up to 5000 passengers a day. The MARKET for business jets and turbine helicopters is nearly all leisure, and foreign passengers create about 95 percent of the demand. Just eight business jets operate in country, three of which fly with a New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) tail number. Auckland based Air National, New Zealand’s largest charter operator, fields a fleet that includes a Jetstream 32 and Westwind II. List of changes by 2016 NEW TERMINAL UPGRADE - 2015 EXTRA FLIGHTS TO AUCKLAND,  HAMILTON - HAPPENING NOW MORE ATR 72 PLANES TO ARRIVE/TAKEOFF - HAPPENING NOW MORE PASSENGER NUMBERS - HAPPENING NOW POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - 2016+ TERMINAL UPGRADE -  CONFIRMED Starting off with the terminal upgrade. Not much has been revealed about the new terminal however what we do know is that the New Plymouth District Council has confirmed that they are designing a new terminal extension for construction in 2015.
